I deleted the random transactions that Quicken added to all of my non-financial accounts.
This fixed the issue in the sense that my amounts were correct again…. and then about a week later quicken set all of of those accounts to $0 by deleting all of my transactions. I can not fix them at all now.
Further, I logged 5-6 attempts w support all but 1 or 2 ended with a hang up basically on chat. This is super frustrating since over chat - there is no reason to 'hang up'. this lost all context and I was forced to restate the issue over and over to the tune of hours of time.
It seems very simple for Quicken to look at the time stamp for when all my non-financial accounts went to $0, when they added the transactions and when I took them out - or just undo it all? I rarely change the non-financial accounts - so it should be easy - but this support has been a debacle - right in the middle of tax season….
