Stop hiding Venmo by default
Like many of us, a good portion of my monthly transactions are Venmo expenses and reimbursements between friends, roommates, my partner, etc.
These are already annoying to individually categorize, but a few months back Simplifi suddenly started hiding these transactions by default from the Spending Plan & Reports.
I'm not understanding the logic behind this shift given Venmo is most likely to be used for expenses and income rather than some type of transaction it would make sense to hide.
It would make more sense for Venmo transactions to be automatically "Uncategorized"
I can set up these rules myself but as the system default was fine until recently I thought I'd flag it as a counter-intuitive behavior of the platform. Several of my friends who also use Simplifi are similarly befuddled by it.

Hello @bobmablob,
Thank you for reaching out! When you say they're hidden, do you mean they're being excluded from the Spending Plan? Do your Venmo transactions show as transfers? If they do show as transfers and you want them not to be excluded from your spending plan, then the instructions in this article will help:
Which reports are excluding your Venmo transactions? Have you checked to make sure your Venmo account isn't being excluded from reports? If the account is being excluded, then use the instructions in this article to include the account:
I hope this helps!
