Transaction Split feature not working properly

When I deposit multiple checks in my account, and I need to split the total amount of the checks up and apply to separate invoices, the "split" function on Quicken [Simplifi] should do that. However, when I attempt to split the amount, it keeps adding, instead of subtracting the amount of "left to split" thus making it impossible to split the transactions correctly. Seems like an easy fix, but I haven't figured out a workaround yet since the "left to split" section has to be zero, or it won't let the split happen.

    Hello @Asher,

Thanks for reaching out! On my end, I was able to split a transaction that came in as Income by entering the separate amounts with a '+' symbol before each amount. Does doing that work for you as well?

I was able to make it work on end by adding a "-" symbol to the total amount. Looking at the way you did it, that would also work. So yes, I figured it out. It's a bit strange that the correct symbol isn't already there, but an easy fix. Thanks!

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
