"Projected spend" keeps changing from where I set it

I use a custom amount for my projected spending in the spending plan month to month. I recently changed it to make it a little higher going forward, but it keeps changing itself back to what it was before. Is there some other way I'm supposed to change this besides just clicking "change" and "set amount"? Cause currently it isn't sticking.
