Spending plan for extended period

I would like to see my projected spending plan for the year to see the impact of paying off loans, ending bill series, changing income, etc affect my budget in future months. I know I can step through the spending plan month-by-month but it doesn't let me see the trend and I have to click into income, bills, and planned spend individually to see the details (what changed). Is there something in the works like a report based on spending plan data or a view that shows more than one month at a time?

Seriously though, I don't know any way other than keeping the idea currently visible on the Discussion page by making new comments on it. But I'm not very good at that sort of self-promotion.

I voted for the idea mentioned in the post as I want to do a forward look for the rest of the year. I'm very new to quicken, but the only way I can see a forward look for the year is to use the cash flow under bills & income and set it to 6 or 12 months, etc. Then i would be able to see the impact of some future large expenses (weddings, vacations, etc)

I was planning on putting the expenses in as one time occurrence in the month that I will get hit with it. Then I can see where I need to account for some transfers from my retirement account. (I'm on a fixed income at this point in my life.)

@albuds That's exactly what I do. I put in all my annual, semi-annual expenses as recurring reminders, and if I know I will have a special expense in a future month, I "budget" for it with a one-time reminders.

As I get updated information or things change, I fiddle with the amounts either by editing the series or the next instance. For example, I just paid a deposit for my tennis trip next month and that necessitated some updating on the price, dates, etc.
