NEW 3/27/26: Bank of America - "Something went wrong" error
We are currently seeing an issue with Bank of America returning a "Something went wrong" error in Quicken Simplifi. Users may encounter an error message: "Something went wrong. We're unable to authenticate you. Go to the bank fo America site or app you typically use to manage your third-party consents for assistance."
This error is produced by the bank's website and cannot be resolved by Quicken without Bank of America's support. We ask that customers who encounter this error please call Bank of America and request to speak with their Open Banking Department.
