Now I see something else that happens at the same time. When I review a transaction and click elsewhere, and the filter recalculates or whatever, in addition to jumping to the top of the list, any section that's minimized gets expanded. (I usually minimize the Pending section when reviewing transactions, I like to wait until they clear since sometimes they change or disappear at that point). So now every time I click Reviewed, I need to click somewhere else, re-minimize Pending, and then scroll to or find the area I was up to.

I am pretty sure that this behavior of un-minimizing is new.

    Hello @EL1234,

Thanks for the information! I wasn't able to reproduce this on my end. I had minimized Pending as you stated, and then went about reviewing transactions. The Pending section remained minimized for me. Can you share a screen recording showing this issue from your end if you are able to?

I would also see if trying in another web browser presents the same issue or not. Let us know!

@Coach Jon I only see this when filtering transactions to only show unreviewed. Once you've got that filter set up, minimize the pending section, click the reviewed checkbox, then click elsewhere on the screen so that the update gets sent to the server. Then watch!

Let me know if that helps replicate the issue please. A screen recording would be very complicated to redact so hopefully we won't need it. I'm using google chrome by the way.

    Thanks!

(PS: the details which I added, and steps to replicate, were included in the thread that this post was split from :). The key is to edit the transaction so that it no longer matches the filter criteria.)

    Hello @EL1234,

I reached out to our product team to verify whether this was expected behavior, and it is indeed at this time. However, they will be looking at improving the register soon and will be sure to consider this when making those improvements going forward.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

It's definitely a new issue fwiw. Probably started within the last week if I had to guess. It's quite annoying, I have to say!

I'm glad too! I wonder if it came along with these fixes from 6.15.0

    • FIXED: Using the Escape key on the keyboard to exit the Transaction Detail modal scrolls the transaction list to the top.
    • FIXED: Making changes to a transaction with filters applied scrolls the transaction list to the top.

It looks like this is just fixed for when marking individual transactions as reviewed, but not when selecting multiple and clicking the Reviewed checkbox at the top.
