This morning my credit union which was working yesterday isn't working today. I've tried to reconnect the account to no available and i've tried adding a new account without success. If someone can update me further on the issue I would appreciate it.

    Hello @JoeGainey,

Thanks for reaching out! Error code FDP-106 typically indicates that either the account name or account number has changed at the bank. Can you share a screenshot of the error code from your side, please? We also have other instances available for Purdue Federal Credit Union. Have you tried to connect to one of the others to see if it works better? Let us know!

This is happening to me also. I've never had this happen before. I can log-in to my PEFCU accounts directly but it's not updating on Simplifi. I'm not aware of an account name or number change.

    Hello @decg,

Thank you for reaching out as well. Are you trying to update an existing account in Quicken Simplifi or add a new one? Have you tried the other instances I listed above? If you are trying to update an existing account I would see if these steps work:

    • Make all of the accounts with the bank manual by following the steps here.
    • Once you see the account(s) listed in the Manual Accounts section under Settings > Accounts, go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to the bank.
    • If the connection is successful, carefully link the account(s) found to your existing Quicken Simplifi account(s) by following the steps here.

Let us know how this goes!

I am attempting to update existing accounts from the same institution. I've tried to do so off and on all day. A few hours ago I made all the related accounts manual and attempted to go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect.

It requested my institution's User ID and Password. I entered it.

It asked me to choose an option to receive a temporary identification code. I selected that option; however, it would not send the code to me. I received an error message (different than the one above) from Simplifi that says, "A multi-factor authentication is required to connect to your account at Purdue Federal Credit Union. Care Code: FDP-187"

I can log-in to my financial institution without problem. There are no messages there indicating that I need to complete multi-factor. The bank account name/number has not changed. There have been no recent changes to their system. I was able to access everything on Simplifi yesterday through this institution. I have attempted to connect to other instances of Purdue Federal Credit Union but I receive the same errors.

The most recent time I tried I received this error message…"We are unable to update Purdue Federal Credit Union at this time. Please try again later. If you continue to experience issues, please contact Simplifii support. Care Code: QCS-0429-2"

    Hello @decg,

Thanks for the reply! The most recent error is generally caused when we’ve encountered an issue connecting to your account, or there were too many failed attempts connecting to your bank. The other error code you experienced, and the one I am seeing from our end for you, FDP-187, is typically caused by entering an invalid multi-factor authentication code or MFA code.

In this case, I would give 24-48 hours to see if the errors here clear up, and then have you try connecting again. Please keep us updated!
