expense categories with positive transactions are missing from the spending report graph (edited)

When I create a spending report for a time period such as YTD it does not include expense categories that have had large credits so instead of those expense categories subtracting from net worth they would add to it. For example, if I made shopping purchases prior to the time period but then made returns during the time period so the shopping expense category adds to net worth then the spending report shows the correct total expenses but it only lists the expense categories that subtract from net worth and if those expense categories shown are summed they total more than the total expenses since the expense categories that add to net worth are not shown.

I think what you're saying is that transactions with a positive amount that use an expense category aren't showing up in your Spending report, which means they don't offset the expense amounts in the same category. Is that correct? If so, I checked my Spending report, and I see transactions with positive amounts using an expense category show up just fine —

When you look at a specific category (like Shopping), do you see both purchases and returns included, or only spending (negative amount) transactions? Perhaps some screenshots to illustrate what you mean would be helpful.

All expenses including the positive ones show up in the detail below the chart but the positive ones do not show up on the chart itself so if the expenses on the chart are summed they do not equal the Total expenses listed.

Three categories are missing and they each are positive including Amelia Brokerage:

Now that you mention it, I see in the screenshot that I provided earlier that I don't have a graph at all because I am filtered to a single category that contains positive transactions. I was able to reproduce what you described with the graph, and can see it clearly when adding other categories to my report that only have negative transactions. I have edited the title of this thread to specify the issue and have reported it as a bug. I will post updates here!
