I’m testing Quicken Business & Personal / Simplifi-style QBP reports and exports.
So far, the main Income & Expense report export appears summary-oriented. The Flat and Nested CSV exports seem to export category/report totals rather than full transaction-level detail.
However, when drilling into a report amount, the Transaction Details grid appears much richer and has customizable columns such as Account, Client/Project, Exclusion, Flag, Notes, Reviewed, Split, Tags, Attachments, and Usage.
Question: are there export customization options I may be missing?
Specifically:
- Can report exports include transaction-level detail instead of only summary totals?
- Can exports include the currently enabled Transaction Details columns?
- Is there a preferred export path for split-line detail, tags, notes, client/project, and exclusions?
- Are Flat/Nested exports intentionally summary-only?
