I use the Classic version of Personal & Business and have the following feature requests:
BULK ACTIONS
- Add a client to transactions. Use Case: I run a media firm, so we have to go in on dozens sometimes hundreds of transactions and manually add the client to get profitability.
- Split transaction based on a set percentage among different categories. Use Case: For any auto expense, I need to categorize them as 75% business auto, 25% personal auto. A similar approach could be taken to account for home office deduction. Generally, trying to bridge the gap with the tax code and accounting software so there is better real-time planning instead of manual calculations at the end of the month/quarter/year.
- This can also be considered for Rules so this would happen automatically.
REPORTING
- Why does Client Payment not show up as Business Income on reports? It makes everything harder to analyze.
- Profitability by Client. Both in Business > Clients and within the Reports. It’s helpful to see in the Client Details > Overview, but those figures are hard to find in a whole business dashboard
