Previously these were Learningquest.com accounts but they have changed to quest529.com. These are of course 529 accounts for education savings.
@NumberOne, thanks for reaching out with your inquiry!
To clarify, the URL displayed for banks in Quicken Simplifi is not always the URL used to connect from the backend. When I click on the URL displayed for Learning Quest Ed Savings Program in Quicken Simplifi, a new tab opens to the bank's website, which is https://www.quest529.com/ .
Are you able to sign in to this website and access your account? If so, you should be able to use this bank option to connect in Quicken Simplifi. Have you tried doing so? If so, is a specific error or issue experienced?
Let us know!
I didn't see your response till after you closed the post. See previous: [removed link to merged thread]
I can login into the new site which is quest529.com from a browser just fine, but when trying to do so from Simplifi it just give me an auth error:
To connect to Learning Quest Ed Savings Program, you must re-enter your credentials. If that does not work, try entering them on the website at Learning Quest Ed Savings Program to ensure they are correct. Care Code: FDP-103
@NumberOne, we appreciate you getting back to us! I merged your thread here so we can pick up where we left off.
Thanks for reporting the error you received when connecting to Learning Quest Ed Savings Program. For this: "I can login into the new site which is quest529.com from a browser just fine, but when trying to do so from Simplifi it just give me an auth error." do you mean from Quicken Simplifi directly, or when clicking the URL displayed in Quicken Simplifi, as mentioned in my previous comment?
If you haven't tried clicking the URL displayed for the bank in Quicken Simplifi to see if you can sign in and access the account via the new tab that opens to the bank's website, please do so and let us know how it goes. This will help us determine whether it's the correct bank option for you to use, regardless of the error being received in Quicken Simplifi.
We also have this article about 529 accounts and enabling financial aggregator access with the bank directly: https://support.simplifi.quicken.com/en/articles/15783964-errors-when-attempting-to-add-529-accounts-to-simplifi
Please try those steps as well, and let us know how it goes!
Thank you! I fought with for a while then went digging 'again' on the Banks site. Finally found instructions to setup an account for Aggregators. That seems to have worked. Yeah!
