"An error occurred. Please try again." when splitting transactions; splits are lost afterwards

Hello, the last few weeks, maybe months, when editing (specifically when splitting) a transaction with a lot of splits (15 or so, for paychecks), if the window is left open to long this error appears in a small pinkish box on top of the screen. It doesnt stop the working from happening, it doesnt stop the update to the transaction button from working, it doesnt stop showing the updated splits in the transaction window but when you log back in all of the splits are gone.

its infuriating. I am updating splits against a clock who's rules I dont understand, just waiting for the rug to be ripped out from underneath me and lose all my work.

How is this ok? Is anyone else seeing this? Anyone have any fixes?

    Thank you for reaching out! I think we will need a little bit more information to properly troubleshoot this issue. I tried reproducing the issue on my end, but did not encounter any errors after editing a transaction to include 15+ splits. Do you know the exact number of splits where this error usually occurs? Can you provide a screenshot or a screen recording showing the error you receive when editing a transaction this way, so we can better assist you?

    You mentioned that this occurs specifically when leaving the window open too long while editing as well. About how long do you usually wait/spend editing before seeing this error appear? Let us know!
