Missing minus sign in credit card details statement balance (edited)

I have several credit cards with positive balances; for example: because of refunds, etc. the bank actually owes me. But in the summary section (above the cash flow graph) the balances of all my cards show as a positive number, i.e., no negative sign, regardless of who owes who.

They are correct on the side panel to the left: if I owe the bank, it shows as a negative; if I have a positive balance, there is no minus sign.

To help us better understand the situation, could you please provide screenshots of the account balances in Quicken Simplifi, as well as what they should show on the bank's side? Additionally, can you confirm whether this is affecting all of your credit card accounts, regardless of the financial institution? You may send this information via DM if you prefer.

Thank you for the screenshots! I believe what you are referencing in Quicken Simplifi is the credit card detail information that the financial institution sends to us.

When available, this includes your statement balance, minimum payment due, due date, and your credit usage. These details help you keep track of your obligations, monitor your credit usage, and avoid any surprises. The information displayed depends on what your financial institution provides, so some fields may be missing or unsupported.

I know the Statement Balance is specific to what is shown on your most recent statement. The Account Balance may not directly line up with what your Statement Balance is due to this.

Huh? So you're telling me you don't care if the data Simplifi displays is incorrect? OK, given how many bugs are in the software, I guess I'm not surprised. Credit card statements show the balance due, and they use a sign. I gave you several samples, and Simplifi programmers didn't account for credit balances and never display a sign for the statement balance. That's an oversight on their part, but if you're OK with it and aren't even willing to put it on the bugs list, I give up.

Attached are two consecutive examples from US Bank on a Kroger-branded credit card. Notice that the 4/2 statement shows a $502.33 balance. I owe the bank. No sign. In contrast, the 5/2 statement shows a balance of $22.46cr. They owe me money. Simplifi software shouldn't ignore the sign. Furthermore, to avoid confusion, it should be consistent with the upper right figure showing the current balance. If one is red with a negative sign, the other should too. But I get it: there are so many other bugs in the software, this is minor. Triage.

Nearly every day I regret my decision to switch to Simplifi. It's as if the company hired a bunch of people off the street with no financial experience (and apparently little to no software development experience either) and started from scratch, as if there had never been any financial software to benchmark against over the past 40 years. Got it.

Based on the screenshots of the statements from your banks that you sent me via DM, the Statement Balances in Quicken Simplifi appear to be correct. Can you also provide a screenshot of how the Statement Balance appears in Quicken Simplifi for you for the Kroger example you provided? Thank you!
