I recently switched bank accounts. Recurring transfers going from my primary account to a savings account had to be updated to the new primary. Now, I am getting pending transaction showing up with the old account on the transfer, and cleared transactions are keeping this incorrect category which is breaking the Spending Plan and other tracking features.
The support team advised setting the transaction to uncategorized, then recategorizing which will create a new transaction in the destination account, then deleting the new transaction after updating the transfer on both sides. This works but is extremely tedious on 10+ recurring transfers per month.
They additionally advised deleting and recreating the recurring transaction, but again I would like to keep my recurring transaction history and have the account selection work as intended.
I am submitting this as a bug report due to the fact that changing the account on the recurring transaction is not working as intended.
