Unable to connect to Alerus (FDP-106)

Hello, I am having problems connecting to my Alerus Financial Services account. I am able to connect throught their website with no problem. I switched to using the "Alliance Benefit Group" connection which uses alerusfinancial.com and it worked for a couple of months, but this broke again and it gives me this error code: FDP-106. I tried using the regular Alerus connection, which uses alerus.com and I get this error: We are unable to connect to Alerus at this time. Care Code: FDP-176

Any suggestions for fixing this issue?

Thank you for reaching out! If you are receiving the FDP-106 error when trying to update your account currently in Quicken Simplifi, then I would have you try the following steps to see if they work in resolving the issue:

Make all of the accounts with the bank manual by following the steps here.
Once you see the account(s) listed in the Manual Accounts section under Settings > Accounts, go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to the bank.
If the connection is successful, carefully link the account(s) found to your existing Quicken Simplifi account(s) by following the steps here.

I actually deleted the account by mistake. When I try to create a new account using "Alerus" which uses alerus.com, I get this error code: FDP-176. I also tried "Alliance Benefit Group" which uses www2.alerusfinancial.com, but I get error code: FDP-106.

Since you last used the Alliance Benefit Group option successfully, we should try troubleshooting for that option specifically. Please provide the following information so that we can investigate further:

What is the account nickname as it appears on the bank's website?
Have there been any changes to the bank’s website?
Has there been activity on the account within the last 90 days?
What is the exact web URL you see once you’ve signed in to the bank's website?
A screenshot of the Accounts Summary page from the bank's website that has a wide enough scope to show the full page URL. This is the landing page after signing in, and typically lists all accounts and balances. You will want to take this from a web browser and not a mobile browser, as well as redact any private info such as account numbers.

We will also need logs to be sent:

Log in to the Quicken Simplifi Web App.
Select the Profile icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
With the Profile menu open, hold down the Option key (Mac) or the Alt key (Windows), and then click Send Feedback.
Leave all boxes checked, add a brief description of the issue, and then click Send.

I am having the same error, it appears they have updated their webpage to a different format which may be causing the issue. Please advise.

Here’s a screenshot. This was a migration we were forced to do a few months ago. Honestly I’m not willing to keep investing this much time on re-migration every month. Nothing has changed on my end, or as far as I can tell in Alerus’s user flow. The account name or alias has not changed as far as I know. Historically Simplifi has resolved these issues without sharing the diagnosis, so it’s quite possible that it’s an internally documented issue.
