My spouse and I each have separate credit card accounts at Capital One. We have been using Quicken Classic for years. No problems syncing.
We just started to switch to Simplifi. When setting up the accounts, Simplifi would not allow one credit card issuer to sync two different accounts. This is not two users using one account. These are actually two separate accounts (different numbers, statements, log-ins, etc). We never had this issue with Quicken Classic.
I have spoken with Simplifi support and Capital One support. Neither offered a solution. The only proposal from Simplifi was to change both accounts so they has the same user name and password. I asked if this would be a security concern. Simplifi said they didn't know but to try it anyway. I asked Capital one about this and they said there system would view that as a security risk.
Any suggestions?
