Start from scratch??

I want to start over from scratch. How can I change the planned spending available amount to 0? I also want to delete the current transactions and start fresh in July. How do I do that? I tried deleting all my accounts, but then when I re-added them all the transactions popped up again.

A coach can clear out your account for you, but you will probably redownload 90 days of transactions when you reconnect the accounts. So your best bet may be just to bulk delete all the transactions. The easiest way to do this would be from the All Accounts transaction list. You can then choose all the transactions and edit them and choose delete.

As for Planned Spending, you can go to Spending Plan and go back to the first month, and then for each category you have set up, choose to edit the expense series and delete them. You'll have to do this for every category. You can also just set the ones you have to 0.00, but when you start again in July, you'll need to edit them.

I don't know if you have any recurring transactions. If you do, you can delete them or update them all to July.

The best thing to do might be to go slow and get things set up for July and then go through each account and delete the prior transactions at your ease. The Spending Plan for July is probably your first priority. You will probably be downloading June transactions for another few days.

Have you set up any of your business stuff yet? I use simple Quicken Simplifi, so there may other complications.

Remember you can start fresh every month with the Spending Plan and cleared transactions are ignored in connected accounts for balance purposes. Good luck.
