Nice feature. I just updated my tithe reminder with my church's logo and Walmart +. I can see the icons in Bills & Income Module and in the Upcoming Bills & Income Reminders.

I notice we don't see them in the Spending Plan unless we edit the series. (Edit: not that I expected to see the icon in the transaction list but would be nice to see the icon in the transaction edit box up where it says linked to a recurring series.)

Edit: I've done most of my series. The ones that don't have a nice icon, I can add one from some other site or use the means by which I pay, eg, Zelle or Cash app.

I tried this and the process went as described, but it failed to change the icon on the series.

The only thing different from your description was that I did not have to click "Find icon." It found the icon as soon as I entered the website address. (I also tried clicking "Find icon" anyway, to see if that made a difference. It didn't.)

After I clicked "Update" I got a message that the series was updated, but the icon on the series did not change to match the selected icon. When I edited the same series again, it still came up with the old icon. I tried closing and restarting Simplifi to see if it would then use the new icon. It didn't.

Simplifi QBP version 6.29. I'm using Chrome. I also tried Edge with the same result.

Logos will make it look pretty and help find specific item quicker, but I continue to have the need for a Note field for a Recurring Series. I have multiple State Farm, Ameriprise and Water Company recurring items which a logo will help me find, but will not help me distinguish which State Farm renewal is for which car, or home, umbrella, etc.

This ask may need to me moved to another thread, but when I saw this new feature come through for Early Access, I felt I had to make my plug for this again in this context.

I don't need to manually add logos to my bills. I need a new/fixed bill connect that actually works! I got Simplifi for the purpose of being able too see the actual bill amounts for all my bills updated automatically so that I can manage cash flow. That key feature has been broken for months! I have bills with huge month to month swings, and Simplifi is not doing the 1 thing I need it to do which is aggregate all my bills and alert me if my checking account balance will drop too low when I pay them!

I added a couple of logos so far to a couple of recurring items and it works great. I love this feature!! I can see the logos in the Chrome desktop app version but I am not seeing the logos in the iOS mobile app. They are also not showing in the Safari browser app version. I am assuming the logos will eventually appear in all application versions once the feature is fully rolled out?

I noticed I didn't have to click "Find Icon" when Simplifi already had it in the file. I was able to add icons to almost all of my Bills and Income Reminders. Some don't seem to have anything so it gives me just a capital letter.

Edit: This seems to be a QBP problem.

Thanks for confirming. Apparently a problem in QBP implementation. I use regular Simplfi. I imagine they'll fix it fast.

I see it fine in Safari browser app version. I see it in the Bills & Income section and in the dashboard card for the Upcoming Bills & Income.

Edit: I cannot find in my Chrome browser or on another computer. See my replies below.

I added logos for most of my recurring items on my macbook air in the web app, but when I go to the web app on another computer they aren't there. It's been more than 12 hours. Is this a per browser thing or should they sync everywhere?

Well, I just signed on to my wife's Mac and checked my Simplifi file, and you are correct that the recurring icons are not showing up. Verified it was 6.29.0. So is the file of icons being saved on the local computer? Or in the browser's cache?

Update: I signed into Chrome and no icons there either. I added two icons to my Chrome file, then signed out and back in. Those two icons are gone. I have a sneaky suspicion that if I sign out of my account on Safari that the icons will disappear as well. But not confirmed.

If true, the icons are not being saved yet to the server file.

Reminder to self: this is early access new feature and there will be glitches. 😀

Can the entry field be more intelligent when providing a URL?

When I paste https://www.company.bank/ it does not find an icon as it has the https://. I have to manually clear all of that from the field.

Can it just detect a pasted URL and sort so I do not need to remove manually?

I also noticed that I need to repeat this for other recurring transactions with exactly the same name. If I have 4 recurring items called Ameriprise and I match up one, why does it not match the other 3 as it is the same name?

This is exciting. I love that Simplifi continually rolls out new features that I wasn’t expecting. This is one of those little things that just makes the software that much easier and nicer to work with.

1. We will get a few things fixed and then add QBP users. If anyone is eager to start using now, please just DM me and I can add you to the rollout.
2. We'll get the cross browser synching working.
3. We will add to mobile.
4. We do intend to add to new series setup too - which is part of overall work we are doing on series which is focused on improving both setup and how they match reminders and move. @sea_compgeek I see your requests and would be happy to talk anytime about your series and how to improve.

I noticed the same thing about pasting in web addresses. It would be nice to just be able to copy and paste without having to alter anything.

It would be great to be able to change the icon for recurring bills that are using Bill Connect, too. For example, my LL Bean credit card uses the Citi Bank icon because that's the bank that manages it. I'd like it to be the LL Bean icon so it's easier to find. Same with my Lowe's card showing the Synchrony icon.

It would be nice to be able to also use icons already downloaded on your computer. I used another program alongside Simplifi recently and I have icons for every vendor. A person can do a better job of searching out icons and finding ones they want to use. For example, Apple Care + has a logo for it, but the program can't find it and so I use the standard Apple icon. Allowing a second way to input icons into accounts via your computer would be very helpful.
