Whether it’s a full Trailing Twelve Months to the current date (like 8/4/2025-8/3/2026) or a Trailing Twelve Months to the last month end or similar

It looks like you can accomplish this in Quicken Simplifi by using a "Custom" date range:

Custom date range is not a good solution as it forces you to manually change tomorrow what you designed today. If you just say last 12 months at the OP suggested, the system will do it automatically.
I think the latest release 31 will do this. You can now create a rolling 365 day (or any number of days) dynamic report
