iOS App slow and poorly responsive

iOS app has always been slow with editing and recategorizing transactions. Pages will load twice and not save quickly after being edited. It’s super buggy and getting worse.

The new review transactions feature is even worse. Each entry takes 20-30 seconds to respond to a screen press. The app is only getting more unusable.

If the app is up to date and you're still encountering these issues, please try uninstalling the app, restarting your device, and reinstalling it.

If that troubleshooting doesn't help, then please provide information about the device it's happening on:

Is it a tablet or a smartphone?
What model is it (for example, iPad Air2 or iPhone 16)?

So you are using the Beta version of iOS? If so, Quicken needs to be aware of that since this version comes out next month. Did you reinstall the Simplifi Mobile app?

It is working fine for me with iOS 26 and 6.32.

yes it’s beta. I uninstalled and put it back and same issues.

It sounds like there is some sort of incompatibility with the app and the beta operating system. You are doing good work to uncover it now for us users later. I would report the problem on the Apple Beta site as well as here.

I have been using Simplifi almost exclusively on iPhone 17 PM and iPad Pro, and have not noticed any slowness.

might want to check for low available storage or high memory usage. I also wonder if the size of your data set matters (?)

I think I have a lot of data and that makes it worse.

Check out your available space on device: Settings > General iPhone > Storage

If you have less than maybe 5 GB free you’re liable to have performance issues.

Fwiw I am also running iOS 27 Public Beta and haven’t noticed any problems with Simplifi.

It looks like there was an update and review new transaction feature was turned off. It seems to be working better now with that off. Maybe I have a lot more banks and data in my account. Editing transactions still isn't very smooth and hangs up frequently.
