I got this error yesterday:

The current multi-factor authentication method at Bank of America - Health Accounts is not supported. To connect to your account, you must change the multi-factor authentication method at Bank of America - Health Accounts. Care Code: FDP-192

When I go to the website for this account, I don't see any option to be able to change the multi-factor authentication method, so I am not sure this is a viable solution and may need some work to correct/fix the connection. They may have just changed their method across the board or something.

Not sure if you have any other ideas.

Same issue. Logged into the BofA website and had to do the verification challenge with an SMS code, still no luck updating afterwards.

I was able to confirm the FDP-192 error with Bank of America - Health Accounts while reviewing your connection attempts on our end. It looks like the error just started occurring today — is that correct?

An FDP-192 error is presented when the selected financial institution uses an unsupported authentication method. To begin troubleshooting this issue, I'd recommend establishing a fresh connection with the bank to see if that clears things up. Here are the steps to do so:

Make all of the accounts with this bank manual by following the steps here.
Once you see the account(s) listed in the Manual Accounts section under Settings > Accounts, go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to the bank.
If the connection is successful, carefully link the account(s) found to your existing Quicken Simplifi account(s) by following the steps here.

We also have a recommendation available in our help article for FDP-192 errors here that states:

If available, you may need to deactivate or change the secondary authentication method on the financial institution website before Quicken Simplifi can add/update the accounts.
The best way to determine how to disable this function is to contact your bank.

I can confirm that the following MFA protocols are supported in Quicken Simplifi:

SMS codes.
Email verification codes.
Security questions.

Let us know if you're able to change or disable MFA with the bank directly to a supported protocol, and how things go when following the steps above!

We went ahead and reported this to our internal teams for further investigation, as it appears that multiple users are experiencing it. To help with the investigation, please provide the following data:

Do you have MFA enabled?
If so, how do you receive your MFA code?
Do you use an authentication app?
Are you able to disable MFA with the bank?
What is the exact URL you use to access the account(s)?
- Does the URL change once you're signed in? If so, what does it change to?

Please also submit your logs via the 'Send Feedback' option:

Log in to the Quicken Simplifi Web App.
Select the Profile icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
With the Profile menu open, hold down the Option key (Mac) or the Alt key (Windows), and then click Send Feedback.
Leave all boxes checked, add a brief description of the issue, and then click Send.

On login to the BofA HSA website (https://myhealth.bankofamerica.com/) after entering username and password, there's a captcha challenge, followed by a verification code request. The code can be sent to either mobile phone or email. There's no option to 'Remember Me' or 'Trust this device', code challenge seems to occur on every login.

- no MFA explicitly enabled, does not appear to be an option
- Code received by registered email or registered SMS
- no authenticator app option
- no way to disable MFA that i can find
- URL is "https://myhealth.bankofamerica.com/" and base url stays the same

I clicked update in the simplifi web app, got the error and then sent feedback.

I assume this is just to illustrate that things are in progress and rather than getting failed MFA connection attempts, things are temporarily blocked while they try to work to fix the issue.
