The institution is associated with Cape Ann Savings Bank, which I have successfully added to Quicken Simplifi. The URL is (https://www.capeannsavings.bank/financial-advisors) any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi @tsbernie,
Thanks for the additional information. I have one question that may help clarify how the Financial Advisors accounts are expected to connect.
Did your financial institution advise you to use a different login when connecting to third-party services, such as Quicken Simplifi, or did they confirm that you should continue using the same login credentials as your regular Cape Ann Savings Bank online banking?
I’m asking because, at this time, Quicken Simplifi does not appear to have the new Financial Advisors login/connection available separately and if a new login option has to be added, that must be done from the financial institution side but if the financial institution requires a separate login for third-party access, that may explain why you’re unable to connect the account using the available Cape Ann Savings Bank connection.
I'd like to check something else here, if you go to your Quicken Simplifi and try to do the login in the link provided by us, do you see your Financial advisors accounts displayed? Let me know:
And If the financial institution confirmed that the same login should be used for third-party access, please let us know as well, and we can look into this further.
Thank you Coach Aldair. We are contacting the bank officer now and will get back.
I contacted the bank and they're working on it. When they set it up I'll try again and let you know. Thanks
You're very welcome! Thanks for checking with the bank and for letting us know. Hopefully, once they finish setting things up on their end, the Financial Advisors accounts will be available to connect through Quicken Simplifi.
Once the bank has completed the setup, please give it another try and let us know how it goes. If you're still unable to connect the accounts at that point, we'll be happy to look into it further with you.
Thanks again for keeping us updated!
Hello Coach Aldair,
We have communicated John Brennan, manager of the Financial Advisors. He has asked us to come into his office with a laptop to find a work-around. Is there any guidance we can give him to facilitate Financial Advisors being accessible from Quicken Simplifi?https://www.capeannsavings.bank/financial-advisors [removed - privacy]
If you need to get more information or assistance from a Quicken agent regarding this, you can reach out to our Support team directly through the available contact options. They’ll be able to provide more advanced assistance and gather any additional information needed to look into the situation further.
You can find all of the available contact options here:

I hope this helps!
Coach Aldair — At a meeting with our account manager at Cape Ann Financial Advisors I was told that currently Simplifi can't sync with their portal, but they hope to be able to in the future. We have 3 IRAs under their management. I tried to add one manually, but Simplifi still required the Institution. Is there a way to ger our IRA accounts into Simplifi?
Thank you for all your help,
Tom Bernie
Yes, you can add the IRAs to Quicken Simplifi as manual investment accounts even if Cape Ann Financial Advisors' portal isn't currently supported.
When adding the account, you'll want to choose the option to add a manual investment account rather than selecting an institution. This will allow you to enter and track the IRA without a connection to the advisor portal.
You can find the steps for adding accounts here: https://support.simplifi.quicken.com/en/articles/4295304-adding-accounts-in-quicken-simplifi
If you don't see the option for a manual investment account or run into any trouble while setting it up, let me know what you're seeing and I'll be happy to help.
Thanks!
Thank you much.
Tom
