Even after a connection reset, the app throws FDP-175. I am able to log on directly to the Nymeo website.
Hi @pj1953,
Thank you for the additional information. Since the connection reset did not resolve the FDP-175 error, we’d like to gather a few more details to better understand what may be causing it.
If Nymeo has provided any information regarding the recent system upgrade or changes to how third-party applications connect to accounts, please feel free to share that information here as well.
Also, if possible, could you provide a screenshot of the FDP-175 error you're receiving? Please make sure to hide or remove any sensitive account information before posting the screenshot.
Thanks for helping us narrow this down!
Nymeo had an upgrade. They were down the last few days of August and the first day of September. Before going down, they posted a notice that when the upgrade completed, all user names and passwords would be the same. I am able to log directly on to the upgraded site. But Simplifi isn't able to connect. I noticed that during the upgrade, Simplifi did not capture any Nymeo transactions, but I didn't bother investigating till the update was complete. That's when I noticed the FDP-175. It didn't go away when I did a reset. Simplifi now shows the account as 'disconnected'. When I try to reconnect, I get FDP-175 again.
Nymeo has only said that when they came back up, everything would be the same. There was no mention of aggregators or plaid.
I have not changed anything in my Nymeo profile. Everything worked smoothly for months and months before the upgrade.
Here is a screenshot:
Thank you for the additional information. Based on what you’ve described, the issue began immediately after Nymeo’s recent system upgrade, while your login credentials and account settings remained unchanged.
This indicates that something changed on Nymeo’s side during the upgrade that is preventing Quicken Simplifi from connecting to the account. Since the connection was working normally before the upgrade, this will need to be addressed by Nymeo.
We recommend contacting Nymeo and letting them know that third-party access through Quicken Simplifi is returning an FDP-175 error following their system upgrade. I recommend you to ask them to verify that your account is still enabled for third-party/aggregator access.
Thank you. 😺
I got back with Nymeo. They say the problem is on your side, that you know about it, and that it will be fixed mid week (about now). Still no connection. What say you?
Thank you for following up and for checking with Nymeo. I’m sorry you’re still running into the FDP-175 error.
There aren’t any additional troubleshooting steps we can provide for this specific error from the Community. Since Nymeo has confirmed that they’re aware of the issue and you’re still unable to reconnect, the best next step would be to reach out to our Support team directly for further assistance.
Support will be able to review the connection with the tools available to them and gather the necessary information if further investigation is needed.
