Investments Screen: Please Restore Total Market Value Change

I noticed a UI update to Quicken Simplifi in the last couple of days. On the Investments screen, it used to show the market value change for the shares I actually own for each stock. Now it shows the stock’s price change per share instead.

I like keeping the percentage change because it’s useful for seeing how the stock is trending. However, the absolute dollar change per share isn’t very useful to me. What I really want to see is the total market value change for my position based on the number of shares I own.

Please consider reverting this change, or at least provide an option to display total market value change instead of price change per share. That information is much more useful for understanding how each investment is affecting my portfolio.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. As a first step, please make sure you’re running the latest version of Quicken Simplifi and that your device’s operating system is fully up to date. Once everything is updated, please check the Investments screen again to see if the market value change is displaying as expected.

If you’re still seeing the price change per share instead, please share a screenshot of the Investments screen showing the behavior. That will help us better understand what you’re seeing and determine the next steps.
