Manually added credit card payments in bank account disappearing

This is the second time this has happened. My bank is a manually maintained account as they aren't on the network to sync with Simplifi. When I enter a credit card payment, I get the notification that I'm adding a manual unmatched transaction, which I accept.

However, I log in later, and the transactions are gone. I've checked the transactions list, and yes, they are gone, and yes, I have no filters active.

Some questions to try to zero in on this:

First, to make sure I understand… it sounds like you have two accounts involved, a bank (checking?) account and a credit card account, and that the transactions that are disappearing are a transfer from bank to credit card. Is that right?

Are both accounts manual, or just the checking account?

Did you enter the original transaction in the bank account or the credit card account?

Did the transaction have a future date?

After you entered the transaction, were you initially able to see both transactions in their respective accounts? (Or either transaction?) Or did they never actually show up in the transaction lists?
