truist seems to have initiated two factor authorization. i have to reset the connection everytime now
@sgrnspan, thanks for reaching out to the community!
When checking your connection attempts on our end, I don't see any errors for Truist Online Banking - WC. What specifically is happening in Quicken Simplifi that prevents you from completing MFA and updating the account without a reset?
Please let us know so we can best assist!
its not asking now, let me see if it does it again and i will screen shot it. thank you
now it does this it seems to restrict the update times?
that was two days ago
@sgrnspan, thanks for the screenshot!
To clarify, there is no error showing for Truist Online Banking - WC, correct? You're saying that the account doesn't update automatically and you have to reset it to update? We want to be sure we fully understand the sequence of events so we can best guide you.
If so, I'd recommend following these steps to establish a completely fresh connection with the bank to see if doing so clears things up moving forward:
Let us know if this works out for you!
no it will update but only once a day instead of every 4 hours, for example it says today updated 21 hours ago next available update in 1 hour.
it seems to be able to monitor the account overnight?
@sgrnspan, thank you for clarifying that the issue is that the account update is only available once per day instead of every 4 hours.
I'd still recommend following the steps I posted above to make the account manual, then re-link it to the bank to see how things go afterward. If the issue persists, I'd recommend contacting our Support team directly for more advanced assistance. They have the tools to help you find the best path forward and determine whether this was a change made on the bank's end. https://support.simplifi.quicken.com/en/articles/5077917-how-to-contact-support
