Can't get Citi card account to reconnect (invalid username and password error)

Recently my Citi credit card account asked for a reconnect, as it does every now and then. But it will not accept my credentials. I have logged onto the card website separately with the same username and password and have had no issue, so I know they work and are current. Not sure why Simplifi is suddenly having trouble.

Sorry you're running into trouble reconnecting your Citi account. Please try the basic troubleshooting steps below:

Make sure both Quicken Simplifi and your device are fully updated.
Restart your device.
Reset the account connection using the steps here: When and How to Reset Your Account Connections
If the issue persists, please provide a screenshot of the error you're receiving so we can take a closer look.

Thanks, but that didn't work. It gave me the same error. Here's what I'm seeing.

I typed in the username myself and copy/pasted the password from a password app. I've also typed out the password manually, but that didn't work either.

Thanks for providing the screenshot. Since the reset didn't resolve the issue, please try the following:

Go to Settings > Accounts.
Click the three-dot menu next to the affected Citi account and select Make manual.
Then click +Add and reconnect Citi using your credentials.
During the authorization process, make sure to approve all accounts presented.
On the final screen, select the option to Link to Account and choose your existing Citi account.
