Duplicate Recurring Series When Linking From a Transaction on Mobile (edited)

I am experiencing a bug when linking transactions to recurring series. Although I only created one monthly subscription (e.g., for Netflix), four identical options appear when I try to link a transaction. Only one of these options actually connects to the active series and clears the reminder. The other three appear to be 'ghost' entries that don't link to anything, but it is impossible to tell them apart without linking and unlinking each one until the reminder disappears.

@jgold1996, thanks for reaching out to the community with this issue! That sounds like a very strange issue indeed!

I just tested this in my own Quicken Simplifi by clicking the "Link to existing series" option from the three-dot menu of a transaction and only see one of each of my series presented. Have you checked Settings > Recurring to make sure you only have one of each series set up?

If so, please let us know whether you're using the web or mobile app, and whether the issue appears in the other location as well (i.e., if you're using the mobile app, check the web app, and vice versa).

Hi Coach Natalie! This issue seems to be isolated to the mobile app. I double-checked my settings and confirmed that I only have one recurring Netflix series set up, but it appears four times when I try to link it.

I just checked on my mobile app and still only see one of each series presented when linking to recurring from a transaction. With that, I'd recommend following some basic troubleshooting to see if any of these steps clear things up for you:

Clear the app data from your phone's app settings
Perform an uninstall/reinstall of the Quicken Simplifi app
Perform a reboot of your device

Let us know if the issue persists after you complete these steps and sign back into the Quicken Simplifi mobile app.
