Keypad appears, disappears, and cannot be brought back up for recurring setup on iPad pro

When I try to create a recurring transaction on iPad Pro, the keypad for the amount field is unusable, it briefly appears then disappears, and cannot be brought back up. This screams of a development environment where they only tested with a keyboard.
