November 8, my Discover Bank accounts will move to Capital One. How can I assure all my transactions flow to Simplify correctly? When my credit card transitioned, only 3months of transactions came over and I had to manually enter several months.
Hi @Cschaumburg,
To help preserve your transaction history, I recommend switching your existing Discover accounts to manual mode before reconnecting them through Capital One after the transition is complete.
Here’s what to do:
Please note that linking your accounts preserves the history already in Quicken Simplifi, but it doesn't guarantee that older transactions will download from Capital One. I recommend making sure that your new Capital One user is fully migrated and has third-party access activated so you don't encounter any errors during the process.
Thanks!
Thanks, I'll follow this advice and keep my fingers crossed!
No worries! These types of transitions are carefully planned for before they take place. If anything comes up along the way, we're always here to help!
Thanks! 🤝
Relinking worked after making the Discover cards manual and with having a prior Capital One Business Credit Card. It added the Discover credit card accounts to the existing Capital One Account in my case. 😅
