Has auto categorization gotten worse?

Has anyone noticed that more transactions are categorized incorrectly? The most egregious is now every refund I receive is categorized as personal income. I can't create rules for every vendor so I'm forced to manually recategorize. This never used to happen before

I haven't noticed this but others have. For your refunds, do you create a Refund reminder or just let them download?

When you say more transactions are categorized incorrectly, are you referring to random spending, eg, grocery store? Have you made rules for categorization regarding your usual payees?

Most of my random, non-bill, spending is split so I just make a rule for the major category, eg, food, and then I split the sales tax and any other items that might have been sundry items or home supplies.
