Transactions from prior months Spending Plans missing from Simplifi Web App.

Good morning Coach Natalie! I'm messaging to inform you that I encountered a Spending Plan issue specific to the Web Simplifi app. I was looking at my current Spending Plan (11-01-2026) on the web app and decided to go back several months to look at prior Spending Plans. After going back approximately 12-13 months I noticed that ALL of the transactions that make up the Spending Plan had disappeared! The Spending Plan only displayed the total Income, Bills, etc, and all the transactions that would affect the Spending Plan were GONE! The totals were accurate but no transactions were displayed in the Spending Plan. My Web app is updated to the latest release. Then I switched over to the Mobile Simplifi App (iSO 27) and did the same going back view of all prior Spending Plans and all the transactions were completely visible in the Spending Plan window! This seems like it is an issue affecting the Web app and I wanted to bring it to your attention. Thanks again for the excellent work you do on keeping us informed and fixing problems! I see what you mean; it is disconcerting. I think this may have to do with the new default of Simplifi displaying 1 year of transactions. I couldn't figure out a way to get them to show. I will keep trying.

I'm looking at my Spending Plan for April 2025 and all the transactions are visible.

My transaction registers are set to show "Transactions Since 2025."

I have all Transactions showing in the Transaction list, but cannot see any in the Spending Plan before October 2025.

I've tried everything, even turned off Early Access, but they won't show for me.

Where is this setting? Is it different in QBP?

Edit: Mine is in the Transaction List with the circular icon to the right of Transactions. You click it and it loads them all. This "feature" changed recently for some of us.

Weird. Have you tried setting it to "Since 2025" like the image in my post?

Or does that setting look different in Simplifi than in QBP?

Regular simplifi doesn't have that setting anymore (I'm pretty sure - definitely not in early access). We have a new system where it starts loading some and then you click the button to load more (and/or sometimes it does that on its own).

@EL1234 has it right I think. This changed about a week ago for us on simple QS, so I think I may be right that this is a "unintended consequence" of that change?

The rationale I think was to speed up the app, but I never had a slow app since I have a fairly modern Mac but older computers probably did run it slow.

I hope one of the coaches chimes in soon. Right now we really cannot view much on our older Spending Plans.

Thank you for taking the time to explain what you're experiencing and for comparing the Web and mobile apps!

We recently introduced a change to how older transactions are loaded in the Quicken Simplifi Web App to improve performance. However, we'd like to better understand how this may be affecting historical Spending Plans.

Could you please share a screenshot of one of the affected Spending Plans on the Web App, showing the period selected and the missing transactions? If possible, a screenshot of the same Spending Plan in the mobile app would also be helpful for comparison.

We'll take a closer look at the behavior you're describing.

I will let the OP provide screenshots but just FYI I checked my own spending plan and if I scroll back to October 2025 or earlier, my spending plan includes no transactions at all. It does show the total amounts for Income and Bills (based on transactions I suppose but can't tell for sure) and for Planned Spend (not sure if this is based on the series amounts or the transaction amounts) but Other Spend is blank, and none of those sections show any transactions.

For the record I am using the web app (I don't use the mobile version)

OK, I made a picture of what I see for bills, income etc. from October 2025, and it is the same for all the earlier spending plans too.

This is after loading all transactions in the transaction list. Now here's the weird thing. I did that this morning and everything loaded as before, so I closed out QS and reloaded it and they were gone again. Then I loaded all transactions over and over again, and no go. Anything before November 2025 in the Spending Plan shows no transactions.

Thanks to everyone that responded to my post. This is exactly what I am experiencing using the Web app. When I look at prior Spending Plans on my mobile app everything appears to be in order and all the transactions appear in the Spending Plan window. This issue seems to only be affecting the Web version. Also, my transaction settings are set to show all transactions. I attached a screenshot from the Web version to this post.— Edward

I have attached a screenshot of the Spending Plan from the Web app. Spending plan does not show transactions that occurred 12-13 months ago. However, totals do appear but the plan does not seem fully populated on the Web app. — Edward

Steve, this is EXACTLY what I am experiencing with the Web app for Simplifi. The mobile app on iOS27 does not appear to be affected. I also provided a screenshot from the Web to help with troubleshooting.

We've been able to reproduce the issue with transactions missing from historical Spending Plans in the Quicken Simplifi Web App, and we'd like to investigate it further.

To help us with this, could everyone experiencing this issue please submit their logs using the Send Feedback option?

Log in to the Quicken Simplifi Web App.
Select the Profile icon in the upper-right corner.
With the Profile menu open, hold down the Option key (Mac) or Alt key (Windows), then click Send Feedback.
Leave all boxes checked, add a brief description of the issue, and click Send.

Once submitted, please reply here to let us know so we can associate your logs with our investigation.
