Adding a Credit Card Account and Viewing Transactions (Edited)

I tried to add a credit card account to my daskboard but was not able to down the info from my bank where the credit card it associated. I will try again tomorrow and see if I can get the info downloaded. Are Credit Card transactions reviewed and catagorized on a Credit Card Account just like on a checking account?

I noticed some credit card transactions were listed in my checking account lists but there was no name of who that card payment was made to.

Hi @Josienurse,

Absolutely! You can add a credit card account to Quicken Simplifi, and once connected, your credit card transactions will download and can be reviewed and categorized just like transactions in your checking account.

You can follow the steps in our Adding Accounts in Quicken Simplifi article.

Regarding the transaction names, Quicken Simplifi displays the payee information provided by your financial institution. If the bank doesn't provide the merchant's name or sends limited transaction details, Quicken Simplifi may not be able to display the full name.

If you try connecting the card again tomorrow and still have trouble, please let us know which financial institution you're trying to connect to and whether you receive any error messages.
