Ability to type out the Date when entering a new transaction (edited)

I'm in the process of adding a manual account with history and every time I add a new transaction, I have to use the date picker, scroll back by month three years, and then tab to the next entry field. It would be much faster if when selecting the date field I could just type the date.

Great news! The ability to type out the date when entering a transaction is now available with the new Transaction Details view (please see here). If you don't have this view yet, you will soon!
