What is special about Easter?

As with all holidays, Easter may mean something different to you, depending on who you are or where you grew up. Personally, I love Easter because it's the epitome of Spring. From pastel outfits to brightly colored eggs, everything just screams Springtime. Also, who doesn't love a good egg hunt? And let's not forget the candy--Cadbury eggs, peeps, and the gobs of chocolate. There's just something magical about Easter!
What makes Easter special for you? Do you have any family traditions?

This being a financial forum -- easter, like valentines day and the other 'candy holidays', is best celebrated the day after Easter, when the stores are clearing out the Easter themed candy at usually significant discounts.

Good question.
Enjoy the opportunity to spend time with family, eat good food, breath, eat more good food, breath, eat the scraps, and remember what God did some 2,000+ years ago on the cross...and subsequently.
Did I mention the food!?Chris
