How to download CATEGORIES to Excel?

How do I download a report of spending by CATEGORY to Excel?

(As far as I can tell, currently you can only download individual transactions.)

This is probably the most valuable type of report - both for budgeting and tax reporting. It's easy to do in Mint or Quicken, but it doesn't seem to be available in Simplifi?

You can to to the Transactions section and there is a download button to download all your transactions, which includes the Category field.  You can then do a pivot table in Excel to see your totals by category.

A great suggestion was provided by @Murphybp2, and I'd also recommend adding your vote and feedback to our existing Idea post requesting the ability to download and print Reports.
