Investment Transactions Throw Off Spending Report

I have several investment transactions from September (dividend payments, reinvestment, contributions, and transfers) that are categorized as "Uncategorized." Accordingly, my September spending is WAY off. Shouldn't investment transactions, even if uncategorized, be excluded from spending and reports?

Hello @bcrossman,
Thanks for posting your inquiry to the Community!
If the investment transactions in question have the option for a Category, they are most likely a "cash flow" type, such as 'Payment/Deposit'. At this time, "cash flow" type investment transactions will be included in Reports; this is mentioned in our Investment Transactions Support Article.
To resolve this matter, you can either manually ignore the transactions from Reports, or you can change the type to an investing type. The current "cash flow" types that I'm aware of are 'Payment/Deposit', 'Miscellaneous Expense', and 'Income Miscellaneous'.
I hope this helps, but please let us know if you have any further questions!
