Split transactions don't register in Spending Plan

If a category is part of Spending Plan, and it is split off another transaction, it doesn't properly deduct / appear in the Spending Plan item.

Hello @timmyc123,
Thank you for posting to the Community regarding this behavior.
When viewing your screenshots, it looks like the transaction in question is linked to a Recurring Series. Since the Spending Plan is designed to not double count transactions, once a transaction is linked to a Recurring Series, it will be counted toward the Bills and Income section of the Spending Plan and will not be counted toward a Planned Spending expense of the same Category.
