Projected Cash Flow Bug - Pending Transactions

In the last two days, I've seen bugs with recurring transfers in cash flow projections. 

Yesterday, a pending recurring transfer in was not shown in the receiving account in cash flow projections. I deleted the recurring transaction and recreated it and that fixed it yesterday.


Today, in two accounts, a pending recurring transfer from one account to another is showing twice in the sending accounts(s) and (correctly) only once in the receiving account. 

In both instances, the pending transactions are shown correctly in the recent activity. This is only an issue with cash flow projections.

    Thank you for posting to the Community regarding this issue, although I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this behavior with the Projected Cash Flow in Simplifi.

    To better understand the issue, please provide some additional details:

    1. Are the items in question set up as a Recurring Series in Simplifi, and you are therefore seeing them as Reminders in the Projected Cash Flow?
    2. If so, is the Series set up as a Recurring Linked Transfer where the receiving account is used for the Category of the Series?
    3. Or are the items in question actual transactions entered in the account registers?
    4. If so, have the transactions been downloaded from the bank as 'pending', or were they manually entered?

    It sounds like you're referring to Recurring Linked Transfers where you are seeing 2 Reminders displayed in the Projected Cash Flow of the sending account and only 1 Reminder in the receiving account, however, since Recurring Reminders can't be "pending", the issue is not clear. And since transactions impact the Projected Cash Flow differently than upcoming Reminders do, we need some clarity on what specifically you're seeing.

    It sounds like you're referring to Recurring Linked Transfers where you are seeing 2 Reminders displayed in the Projected Cash Flow of the sending account and only 1 Reminder in the receiving account, THIS IS CORRECT

    The fix was to delete the two Recurring Series and set them up again.

    Also, please note there were actually two issues.

    One that you asked questions about.

    The other was these same items set up a recurring series. The receiving account DID NOT show the Reminder in the projected cash flow. Again the fix was to delete the recurring series and set it up again

    Since it sounds like both issues were resolved by deleting and recreating the Recurring Series in question, I'd say you most likely experienced a glitch. If things are currently working properly, we won't be able to escalate the issue any further. However, please keep an eye on things and let us know if the issue pops up again and you're unable to resolve it. 🙂
