Having transactions in one month post to another month spending plan

I would like to know how I can have end of month transactions account in the next month spending plan. Ex- I buy gas on the 28th of april but I want it to be accounted of in the next the may spending plan. I don't want it to be in the april spending plan because then it will look like I have gone over my april spending plan for the item. I still want the original date I bought the gas to be shown, so I wouldn't want to change the date I bought the gas originally but I want it to be put into my may spending plan so it doesn't look like I have gone over in the month I bought it . That's my biggest need is being able to put transactions in a different spending plan month because often my end of month income is for the next month spending plan.

Currently, there really isn’t a way to do that in Simplifi. The only way is to change the date of the transaction to the next month. Simplifi currently doesn’t offer rollover of surplus in the budget from one month to the next.

Maybe someone else will be able to think of a way?
