Accidentally changed Category for all transactions for a Payee
Help! I was entering a transaction and somehow changed the Category for all existing transactions for a Payee. I haven't found a way to undo this change. I tried stopping the process of the app in my Task Manager, but that did not work. Is there any way to undo the change that I made or restore from a backup of my last time in the app?

Thanks for posting your inquiry to the Community, although I'm sorry to hear that this happened!
When you make a change in Simplifi, you should have seen an "Undo" prompt pop-up that would allow you to undo the change.
At this time, this is the only option to restore prior data in Simplifi. It sounds like you may have not noticed or utilized this option, and it would be too late to do so now. 😓
If you're brand new to Simplifi and haven't done a whole lot of customizing yet, we can always allow you to start over by deleting your entire Simplifi dataset. Otherwise, you may have to go through and edit the transactions back manually.

That isn't the news I was hoping to hear. But I'm thankful to at least know so that I can just start the tedious task of correcting the issue rather than searching for solutions. Thank you for your reply.
