Hello @bobluck,
Thanks for giving that a try and posting back, although I'm sorry to hear that the trouble persists.
I was able to find an answer to this, and it looks like it's a USAA limitation. Apparently, just like Chase, USAA does not support the ability to have the token granted in more than one application. Doing so will void the token in the first application when you grant it to the second application.
Sorry for not having better news for you!

Hello @bobluck,
Thanks for posting your inquiry to the Community, although I'm sorry to hear about the frequent reauthorizations for USAA in Simplifi.
To clarify, you're referring to being prompted to reauthorize your USAA accounts in Simplifi, and then needing to go through the OAuth API flow to authorize the accounts and re-link them in Simplifi, correct? If so, do you happen to have Quicken with your USAA account(s) added there as well, or anything along those lines?
I know with my Chase account, I actually ended up disconnecting it from Quicken and now just have it connected in Simplifi because the OAuth API required me to reauthorize my account every single time I switched between the two platforms. I'm wondering if something like this could be the case for you with USAA.
Please let us know so we can best assist!

Yes, connected to Quicken, Moneydance, Simplify. This is a new problem, something has changed. Been working fine for almost a year.

Thanks for confirming, @bobluck!
Do you also have to reauthorize the account in Quicken, or is this a Simplifi-only thing? If you're just seeing the issue in Simplifi, I'd suggest making your USAA account(s) manual to fully disconnect them from the bank by following the steps here. Once done, you'll want to go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to USAA, authorize the account(s), and then carefully link the account(s) found to your existing Simplifi account(s) by following the steps here.
Hopefully this helps refresh everything for you and you have a better experience in Simplifi. However, if you're also being prompted to continually reauthorize the account(s) in Quicken as well, I suspect USAA may be the same as Chase where you can only have one app linked to their API at a time.

Only a Simplifi issue, not being prompted in Quicken or Moneydance. I've followed these steps and will see if it sticks.

Did the whole unlink, relink and worked for a day, now back to the same behavior. Being prompted to reauthorize upon each visit to the site.

Well, guess I'll write this off as another massive waste of time and money. Please delete all my data from Simplifi. No sense having it out there if I'm unable to use it. I'll stick with Quickens other crippled product for my desktop. Don't understand why it has worked fine for months and now it does not. Nothing in my workflow has changed.

Hello @bobluck,
I apologize for the frustration, and we're sorry to see you go!
I can delete your Simplifi dataset, which is all of the data that you input into the program, but I want to be absolutely certain you'd like to proceed as doing so is irreversible. As for your Simplifi Subscription, it looks like it's set to expire in October, so you should be all set there.

Yes please delete, more of a frustration than It's worth. I tried it because it allowed me to set my cash management as a spending account unlike Quicken, but just trading one shortcoming for another and paying for both seems moronic.
