I'm new to the platform. When setting up my system I have been totally blocked from using the app, because of how many transactions happen on Venmo.

I know there is already a post about Venmo connectivity errors, The real question is how can we have any confidence?

There are a total 37 issues reported - 9 have been resolved, and 28 are still open - some going back to 2022.

This type of error on my first day makes me very skeptical about this platform.

Thoughts or advice?

I'd be shocked if there were only 28 unresolved issues.

However, on venmo, as I understand it, Simplifi uses a 3rd party (or more than one) to get connections to financial institutions like Venmo. These third party companies are typically pretty good at getting those types of things resolved in a reasonable amount of time (I would say days-to-weeks).

I think they must be using a bottom tier data broker. Do we know which one they use?

I think one of them is Intuit - which they inherited from Quicken (formerly owned by Intuit), but I believe there are others. I don't know who handles Venmo, I'm just another user like you (but i've been in these forums a couple of years and have seen a lot of info/common-answers).
