Can anyone suggest a better way of tracking apple card with Simplify? (edited)
Currently Apple is not allowing Simplifi a connection. My guess is it will be a year or so before apple can acquire a new bank. Goldman, their current banker, is leaving consumer credit business. I bet the new bank and Apple will be eager to connect. I have set up an Apple Card manual account. I used Mint to export all transactions on the card. I uploaded the export to Simplifi but had a positive balance. I made up a Payee, called Startup, added a transaction to correct the balance and used Balance Adjustment as a category. Looks like it is going to be pending forever. I plan to download a statement each month from apple card and upload to Simplifi once a month.
Can anyone suggest a better way of tracking apple card with Simplify? Any thoughts on what will happen with the monthly statements uploads? They upload easy, but I am wondering if the balance will be correct.

Hello @N4KHQ,
That transaction doesn't have to stay pending forever. If you're in the web app, you can change it by clicking on the word "Pending" in the Status column. It will take you to the Transaction Detail screen.
Click the Status dropdown, select cleared, then click the Update button to save the change. Note: Once you save a transaction as cleared, there is no way to change it back to pending without deleting and recreating the transaction.
In the mobile app, tap on the transaction and it will open the View Transaction screen. Scroll down and near the bottom, you will see "This is a pending transaction Mark as Cleared".
If you tap on the blue Mark as Cleared, you will see a blue Update button appear. Tap that button and it will save the change (there will be a very brief opportunity to click Undo).
For more information on managing manual transactions, I would recommend reviewing these two articles:
&Importing the statements shouldn't mess up your balance. If you put transactions in manually and also import at the end of the month, then you may want to verify that the imported transactions match up properly (since you'd otherwise end up with duplicate transactions throwing off the balance).
