mark bill as paid after paying in cash

Hi. I am new to quicken so forgive me if this was asked already or if it's a bad question.

I have a babysitter I pay every other week. The pay fluctuates every time. I pay the babysitter in cash, after making a withdrawal from an atm. (the withdrawal usually isn't the exact amount, e.g. I have 2 bills to pay in cash).

How do I go about doing this in quicken? I tried making a recurring bill for an average babysitting pay, then deleting the atm transaction and adding a new transaction with the payment amount. But I wasn't able to connect it to the bill because the bill is recurring.

thank you for helping

I have a "Cash" manual account, and mark ATM withdrawals as a transfer from my bank account to my cash account. Then I pay the babysitter and mark the transaction in my cash account.

If I wanted to track this further in my Spending Plan I think I would set it up in in Planned Spending rather than as a recurring bill.
