Cashed check comes through as a credit instead of debit (edited)
I use a Fidelity checking account for most of my bill paying. If I write a check, the transaction comes through as Redemption from Core Account as the Payee and Personal Income as the Category. It's a debit, not a credit!
When I'm logged into Fidelity, in the description I see Check Paid (#xxxx) Cash."
I can't figure out why this is happening. Please advise.

Coach Natalie - thank you for your response. I believe this is a better explanation of what is occurring. Bottom line, if $100 leaves the account in the form of a check, why does Simplifi want to put the $100 back?

@michfromflorida, although I'm not sure why the issue is occurring, if it's the same issue that's been outlined in the other post, I'd suggest following along there for any future updates. We are working on improving the experience with Fidelity, so it's possible that this issue may be fixed down the road.
Thanks!
