…so you don't have to open the transaction just to get rid of it.
How about adding a trashcan icon on the transaction screen so a user can quickly delete one or more selected transactions without having to go to the detail screen. The detail screen is more suited for updating info for a transaction. I shouldn't have to edit a transaction to delete it.
I agree it is a bit cumbersome. But on the other hand, you have to hunt for it and that probably makes it harder to delete a transaction accidentally or a group of them. It does however delete the transaction without a confirmation.
It might be a bit dangerous to make deletion easier especially without an Undelete feature.
Edit: I should add that the Bulk Delete does force you to confirm before the action takes place.
I support this proposed modification. More hazardous to the casual deleter is that the current delete functionality is immediate - no "are you sure" prompt. And the "undo" popup is a bit weird too. The Simplifi transaction delete method is unique, in an awkward way. The Simplifi team should rethink the transaction delete process.
I forgot that the new-to-me bulk delete works as I'd prefer. In fact, just enabling that "More" button when I select a single transaction would work for me.
Yep, this bulk feature was always there, but is more accessible with the More Option with the recent changes in Early Access!
No, no, this idea frightens me! Please keep some sort of protection so I don't accidentally delete a transaction in one click!
