How Do I Apply a Bill to the Following Month?

My Verizon Wireless bill comes out at the beginning of the month. So in January the bill came out on the 2nd, but the next bill was charged on the 30th. Technically the charge on the 30th should be in February's spending plan. How do I apply that charge to the bill in February? Right ow my spending plan is over budget for January. I'm trying to close out January but I don't know how to fix this. I have the same situation with my Verizon Fios bill, so my January spending plan is way over budget when it shouldn't be.

I think you can edit the bill and choose a new date for it.
