Completely custom spending plan categories

I am a Mint transfer and one of the best features was being able to add custom categories. Yes, the auto-categorization is thrown off maybe but I'd love to have more control of my spending plan in this way. For instance, I want two "fun" categories. One for me and my spouse. Any one have any workarounds for this / can get Quicken to add this feature?

If I'm understanding what you want to do correctly, perhaps creating the custom categories, then assigning them to Planned Spending would work?
